How does the balcony concert work?

There is neither a playlist nor a fixed number of pieces for the second series of balcony concerts.

Everyone chooses the piece that suits them and plays them. The suggested time on Martin's Day is 6 p.m. On the Advent Sundays it could be the afternoon. More information will follow.

The next appointment is Wednesday 11/11/2020 at 6 p.m. (Martin's Day)

The voices build on each other. There are numerous versions of each voice for different instruments and moods. I.e. that there will be a version for most instruments. A tuba can also play the 1st voice alone. The voices 2 to max. 4 then complete the whole. One to max. be played in four voices.

Please tell your printer which page / s you need, otherwise there will be a lot of paper waste.

One more urgent request

It should be clear to everyone by now that sufficient distance and discipline will help to get the pandemic somehow under control. We don't want to counteract with this action. Therefore we urgently ask you not to meet in groups to make music, not to gather at meeting points to make music. Adhere to the current regulations in your place of residence.

It is better to sound a little less good at home alone than to put yourself and others in danger unnecessarily in order to produce a great sound. That's what we will deliver when we can meet sometime for a big final concert together. In the meantime, supporters and donors have already signed up.

Note

I hope that neither rights holders, composers, publishers, other musicians nor the GEMA feel betrayed by this solidarity action. I write the sheet music myself. I assure you that this action does not pursue any economic or commercial intentions. This will not change.
